A Degree Designed for Flexibility
In today’s world, communication is more important than ever. A degree in Language Arts is one of the most versatile degrees available today. Develop your communication skills, improve your writing skills, and increase your desirability to employers. A Language Arts degree will provide you with a well-rounded education and expose you to a broad base of information in the fields of history, art, social systems, communications, business, and more. You’ll gain wide exposure to diverse perspectives and be exposed to a variety of cultures – skills that are highly valued by employers in all professional fields.
You can also earn your certification in our unique Storytelling program at the SMCC Storytelling Institute. This nationally recognized program began in 1995 and hosts performances and workshops by internationally known authors and storytellers. By graduating with a language arts degree, your historical, cultural, and personal perspectives will be enriched and your writing will gain depth, discipline, and technical strength.
